Class Descriptions:

Ballet- The beautiful classical art form established in the 15th century.  Classes teach poise, grace, and discipline.  Vagonova method taught.

Pointe- By teacher placement only, this is the advanced form of classical ballet techniue.

Tap- Rhythemic sounds made by the feet.  Tap dancing teaches rhytmn and musicality.

Jazz- A free moving yet technical discipline.  This style can lean its way to several differnt genres and musical types.  Dancers of all ages love this up-beat form of dance!

*Lyrical- originally coined "liquid" jazz, this beautiful art form tells the story of the music it is set to

*Modern- A ballet based technique with many founders: Cunningham, Grahm, and Ailey to name a few.  This is an interprative and highly technical genre of dance.

Hip Hop- A street-based style of dance set to up-beat music.  (All music is age-appropriate).  Hip Hop technique is sweeping the world!

*Must take ballet to take these classes.

An age appropriate hip hop class for 4-6 year olds!

Class Levels:

Mommy and Me- ages 18months- 2 1/2

Bitty Ballerina- ages 2 1/2- 3 (a 45 minute class comprised of ballet and tap)

Kinder Combo- ages 4 and 5 (a 60 minute class comprised of ballet and tap)

Combo I- Ages 5-6 ( a 75 minute class comprised of ballet, tap, and an intro to jazz)

Combo II- Ages 6-7 (a 90 minute class comprised of ballet, tap, and jazz)

Level 1*- Ages 6-8

Level II*- 9-10

Level III*- 11-13

Level IV*-14+

*Classes are individual.  Lengths vary.
